There was a good chemistry bet Vincent and his daughter Cara. She seemed very mature for only being nine. There seemed more development between father and daughter than between Vincent and Jake. Of course these men both sensed a mutual attraction but the ending seemed to be left up in the air. This is my first time reading this author so I hope there will be more to their relationship.Product details

This book could use a good editor. The story is not complicated but the delivery is a bit off and the end comes much too quickly to impress the reader. There is no character development, the characters act and react, changing as needed by the story line but there is no development, no option for the reader to understand or to know who the characters are.
I enjoy this story, I loved the characters, and story.
This had a lot of potential but ended before there was any character development. We know a little about Vincent and his history but nothing about Jake. This should have been longer and more fully developed. Did the author get bored and give up? Also, it needs some editing. Not too many errors but there are a few times when "Victor" is used where "Vincent" should be.
